November 12th:
The class will be planning within the role of a babysitter.  I will pose as a babysitter course instructor and have them answer a series of questions relating to scenarios in the book Jumanji.  Will they succeed in achieving their babysitter's certificate?


November 5th:

Have you read Follow the Drinking Gourd?  This story relates to the underground railway, part of Canadian heritage.


October 22nd:
Have you read Goldilocks and the Three Bears? The Three Little Pigs? Well, not like this!  These grade eight students have revamped the classic fairy tales providing alternate endings and even new characters!
